Album name：An Education In Rebellion

Union Underground's debut album is a bit of a mixed bag. Though they come from the industrial end of heavy metal, they're at their best when they incorporate the back-to-basics Southern grind of Monster Magnet and White Zombie on excellent tracks such as 'Turn Me on 'Mr. Deadman'' and 'South Texas Deathride.' The amped-up spirit of grunge-rockers Alice in Chains loom large over 'Killing the Fly' and 'Revolution Man.' Unfortunately, 'Until You Crack' is fairly predictable, while 'Trip' boasts ridiculous lyrics ('I'm a junkie / God is gay'). --Robert Burrow
