Canadian Brass【 3 albums 47 lyrics 】
Canadian Brass is a Canadian brass quintet formed in 1970 in Toronto, Ontario by tubist Charles Daellenbach, french horn player Graeme Page, trombonist Gene Watts, and trumpeters Stuart Laughton and Bill Phillips.

In 1971, the group got its official name of 'Canadian Brass' and trumpeter Ronald Romm replaced Stuart Laughton. In 1972, trumpeter Fred Mills replaced Bill Phillips. The group remained together without any change until 1983, when french horn player Martin Hackleman replaced Graeme Page. In 1986, Hackleman left and was replaced by David Ohanian, and in 1996, trumpeter Jens Lindemann replaced Fred Mills.

The group performs internationally and has recorded more than 130 CDs and DVDs. They have commissioned, performed, and recorded hundreds of transcriptions and original works for brass quintet. Canadian Brass has a library of more than 600 compositions and arrangements specially and uniquely fashioned for them.

As of 2017, the quintet is composed of trumpeters Caleb Hudson and Chris Coletti, hornist Bernhard Scully, trombonist Achilles Liarmakopoulos and Charles Daellenbach.
